  • Here you will find an overview of the 10 future-proof capabilities that form the foundation of the Wavemakers Program.

    • Initiative: When you show initiative, you do things without being told; find out what you need to know, keep going when things get tough, and spot and take advantage of opportunities that others pass by. You act instead of reacting at work.

    • Communication: The ability to listen actively, observe, have the confidence to express ideas, demonstrate respect for one another, empathize with different perspectives and respond accordingly.

    • Teamwork: The ability to focus on a specific goal and work with others to achieve it.

    • Resilience: The ability to cope with stress and hardship, adversity and uncertainty.

    • Systems Thinking: The ability to holistically view the bigger picture: explore inter-relationships, connections, perspectives, and boundaries on a broad scale and interpret how these relationships interact.

    • Innovation: The ability to create, develop and implement new ideas to find solutions to long-standing problems, thereby improving effectiveness and efficiency.

    • Leadership: The ability to apply influence and motivation in leading and guiding others toward a common goal.

    • Active Problem Solving: The ability to identify a problem, think of possible solutions, examine the best choice, take action and evaluate if the problem is solved.

    • Critical Thinking Skills: The ability to observe, tap into curiosity observation, and approach problems in a systematic and consistent way.

    • Social & Emotional Learning: The ability to understand and apply the knowledge and attitudes to manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decision.
